Quaint Wedding in Huntsville

What is the difference between a wedding, micro-wedding and elopement? Is is the amount of people invited, the location, or a combination of both? Honestly, does it matter which one you choose or how many people are there as long as it is exactly as you want it to be. After all, it’s your day!

This sweet wedding, or micro wedding/elopement combo took place in Huntsville Ontario at the sweetest little Inn. They threw tradition out the window on all fronts and even got married on a Tuesday.

The Portage Inn is the cutest little space in the Muskoka’s. Not only can you have your wedding there but you can book out the whole place so yourselves. It isn’t far from the water and my favourite part, you can include your fur baby. They allow you to bring 2 dogs along to celebrate your wedding day, after-all, they are family too!

Kristen and Will have been together since they met at University and the significance of the Tuesday choice is because it is their 8 year anniversary from when they first met!

They knew it was meant to be the moment they had to go back home to their families apart from one another, the first summer after school.

Advice from the wedding couple: Don’t sweat the small things, the most important part of your day is marrying your best friend.

This wedding date had a gorgeous ourdoor ceremony and it poured rain right after but that didn’t stop the celebration. The Inn was able to accommodate their dinner and dance indoors in a gorgeous and intimate way.

Wedding couples first dance on their wedding day, celebrating with close friends and family.
